Compressor Wine Coolers: Compressor wine coolers use the same technology that your kitchen refrigerator does. That means they’re often loud, vibrate a bit, and they use a lot of energy. On the plus side, they’re powerful. A hot day isn’t going to throw them off and bring the fridge’s temperature up.

They work more consistently and they can handle tougher cooling jobs. If performance is more important to you than the inconvenience of noise, then a compressor wine cooler is your best bet.
